There are four branches in Israel divided in different customs
“The Israelites shall camp each with his Flag, under the banners of their ancestral house” (Bemidbar 2, 2). “The Arizal used to say that there are four Flags, as well as there are four branches in Israel divided in different customs. Sefarad, Ashkenaz, Catalunya and Italy, and each one will remain in his Flag following his own custom. These and these are the words of the Living God.”
